Doe is convinced he can be a star in his own right as the Daggers bid to maintain their League One status against all the odds.
"Theo and I played up front together (for AFC Newbury) between the ages of 10 and 13, and we used to score 150 goals a season," Doe said. "He usually got about 100 of them, and I would get 50 over a 30-game season. We were used to winning every game 7-0.
"Theo had so much raw pace that nobody could live with him. What he's gone on to do is unbelievable.
"If he ever wants to watch a Daggers game he is more than welcome!"
