Arsenal are planning to cut loose defender Sebastien Squillaci.

The Daily Mail says it is understood the club will try to negotiate a contract settlement with Squillaci, who has a year left to run on his deal.

Arsenal are attempting to slash £23million off their wage bill this summer.
