Arsenal are pushing to close deals for Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice before the weekend.
The London Evening Standard says the Gunners are eager to have both deals closed before the squad's flight to the US for the next leg of their preseason tour.
Ajax defender Timber passed his medical on Friday after a £40m deal was struck between the two clubs.
Rice, meanwhile, is moving from West Ham for £105m, with Arsenal's legal team running their eye over the contracts one final time.
The Hammers midfielder is currently on holiday in Portugal but has been keeping his fitness up by training at The Campus in Quinta Do Lago, which holds a high-performance centre.
Rice has been taking part in a session at Browns Sports Resort in Vilamoura with Portugal internationals Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Joao Cancelo (Manchester City) and Rafael Leao (AC Milan).
