The latest name that being linked to the club is VitoriaGuimaraes's defensive midfielder Ibrahima Bamba.
Per The Mirror, Arsenal are serious about the 20-year-old, as the Italian-born star has become a key figure for his club side.
Not only can he play adeptly in a defensive midfield role, but Bamba can also fill in at centre-half.
Italian sides Atalanta and Salernitana and Spanish outfit Villarreal are among the other teams interested in securing his signature.
Italian outlet TuttoSalernitana stated that a fee of £5 million could be enough to secure Bamba.
