Arsenal are interested in Rennes midfielder Lovro Majer.

The Croatia international has been likened to teammate and Real Madrid great Luka Modric.

The Mirror says Arsenal are in the hunt for Majer ahead of the January market.

The Gunners had scouts in the stands during Thursday's international between Croatia and Denmark.

Majer's contract with Rennes runs until the summer of 2026 and is rated at over £40m.
