Jack Wilshere could return to the Arsenal lineup within weeks after a successful trip to Dubai.

Wilshere was sent to Dubai for a relaxing break to help his leg recover from its recent injury and according to the club's doctors, the trip proved successful.

The hairline crack in the England midfielder's left fibula is reported to have progressed well and could see Wilshere return to football within several weeks.

The hope at the Emirates is that the 23-year-old will be available for the start of Arsenal's Champions League campaign in late September.

The midfielder will, however, certainly miss England's Euro 2016 qualifiers against San Marino and Switzerland.
