The agent of Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira admits his loan move to Atletico Madrid doesn't include a permanent option.

Pablo Bentancur admits the deal was done in such a rush there was no time to negotiate a permanent clause.

He told Radio 890: “Lucas's operation was very complicated. They were doing the Thomas (Partey) thing and when the two clubs have a different objective it is difficult to be in the middle of the two operations.

"We had other agreed-upon teams such as Roma, Fiorentina or Lazio, which play in the Champions League, but Lucas was blunt. He told us that his goal was Atleti and that we had to get it for him and we work for the players.

"He closed all the possibilities, it was Atlético or nothing. Luckily in the end it was done. He is going on loan one year without a purchase option and the price is not defined, it will depend on his performance. There was no option to buy because Arsenal had to pay the clause for Thomas."
