Released Arsenal midfielder Denilson has signed permanently with Sao Paulo.

The 25-year-old was released by Arsenal earlier this month as they looked to offload fringe players and trim down their wage bill.

The former captain of the Brazilian under-17 national team signed a four and a half year contract until December 2017 with the club.
