Arsenal, Leicester alerted as Gladbach seek Plea buyer

Borussia Monchengladbach are ready to listen to offers for Alassane Plea.

A new coach, Adi Hutter, will take charge this summer and they are willing to sacrifice versatile forward Plea to raise funds rather than lose the younger Marcus Thuram or midfielder Denis Zakaria.

The Daily Mail says Plea has been impressive over the past five seasons. From his time at Nice to his £21.6million transfer to Gladbach he has won over teammates and supporters with his selfless running and consistency.

This season he has still managed ten goals despite Gladbach struggling to provide the same level of service.

He has attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal and Leicester City in recent seasons and English clubs are monitoring developments with the Frenchman once again.
