Arsenal legend Brady: Ten Hag causing own problems at Man Utd

Arsenal great Liam Brady is surprised seeing Erik ten Hag still in charge at Manchester United.

Brady feels Ten Hag has been the cause for his own problems at Old Trafford.

“I think Ten Hag has caused a lot of the problems for himself. Since Alex Ferguson left the club, it has been on disaster after another," Brady told the Sunday World.

“It is up to the manager to get it right when he signs players. If you bring players in, they have got to be better than what you have got. He has had to revert back to players like Harry Maguire and for me, he's just not good enough.

"Antony was a player they spent a lot of money on and he hasn't delivered. Then you look at the centre-forward he bought, you Hojlund, and the goalkeeper Onana... he has made a rod for his own back with these signings.

"I had a go at management and if you get your signings right, the other players come along with you. If you bring in players and pick them ahead of those who have been at the club for a long time, they get disgruntled that they are not playing and it creates a real problem for the manager."
