Arsenal have submitted an improved bid for Bolton Wanderers defender Rob Holding, according to the Daily Mail.

The report claims that the Gunners have submitted an increased £1.2million offer for the 20-year-old after their initial bid of £750,000 was rejected by the League One club.

The England Under-21 international, who was voted Bolton's Player of the Season earlier this month, has only one year left on his current deal with the Trotters.
