Arsenal goalkeeper Ramsdale: What I thought of the Kop

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale says he enjoyed the hostile atmosphere at Anfield for Sunday's 2-2 draw with Liverpool.

England international Ramsdale was required to make some big saves as the Reds fought back from 0-2 down.

He said: "I love the bigger games and I love the fans being there because they help me to feel the pressure and to concentrate more.

“I try to rise to the occasion and enjoy every game and I don't want this season fighting at the top to be a one-off.

“Everyone at the club wants this to be our first stepping stone, to go again in the Champions League next season and try to balance playing in Europe with challenging in the Premier League."

Ramsdale also said: “It's absolutely essential that we focus on the positives of Sunday's result and that's what the manager will be saying.

“We'll look at all the good stuff we did in the first half-to get 2-0 up and though we might have dropped two points at the end this will definitely feel like a very good result when we've digested everything.

“We went to Anfield and played really well but we also had to dig in to survive and there's no better games to be playing in when it means so much to both teams."
