Arsenal goalkeeper Ramsdale makes donation to fund for ex-teammate Dimaio's knee surgery

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale made a significant donation to help a former teammate.

Connor Dimaio, who played alongside Ramsdale at Sheffield United and Chesterfield, is dealing with a serious knee injury.

He was playing for a non-league team in March when he suffered the rupture of his ACL, medial, and lateral ligaments.

Given waiting times, he could not have his surgery through the NHS and sought to raise £6,000 for the procedure.

Ramsdale made a generous donation of £1,000 to the JustGiving page set up for the surgery.

The goalkeeper was thanked by those who set up the donation page, as they stated: "Arsenal's number one coming through with an incredible donation... we cannot thank Aaron enough."
