The French youngster is ready to leave Arsenal on-loan in January for the remainder of the season.

A return to Saint Etienne has been mentioned as his favoured option.

However, L'Equipe says Saliba has now had a rethink and is eager to remain in England.

The defender's decision will be welcomed by the Gunners, where they also believe his development will accelerate by spending time at another English club.
