Arsenal have confirmed Kieran Tierney is out for three months.
Tierney will miss the next three months after dislocating his shoulder in the win over West Ham on Monday.
Tierney, 22, fell awkwardly during the 3-1 victory at the London Stadium and was replaced just before the half-hour mark by Sead Kolasinac.
He was seen leaving the stadium with a supportive strap and the club confirmed on Wednesday that he had suffered a dislocation to his right shoulder.
But now the club have issued an update on the Scot's situation, and have confirmed fears that he requires surgery after suffering the injury.
