Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has plans to buy continental to boost his midfield.

The Daily Express says Wenger wants to reinvest money gained from the sale of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.

He maintains an interest in Valencia winger Juan Mata, Shakhtar Donetsk play-maker Jadson and Marseille's Andre Ayew.

It is thought Ayew has an £11.5m release clause in his contract and he has described Arsenal as "a great club".
