Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has challenged his shadow team to prove themselves against Capital One Cup opponents Sheffield Wednesday.
Wenger rang the changes for Arsenal's third round win at Tottenham, giving rare starts this season to David Ospina, Kieran Gibbs, Calum Chambers, Mathieu Debuchy, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini.
Tonight's trip to Championship Wednesday offers Wenger another chance to hand some much-needed game time to some of his squad players.
And he said: “We want the players who come in to the team to show they are able to make the squad successful, and do absolutely everything to help us win.
“That's the job of a footballer. When you get the chance, you have to be ready."
