Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta snapped back at Neal Maupay after defeat to Brighton on Saturday.
Tempers flared during the Gunners' 2-1 loss at Amex Stadium on Saturday after Maupay collided with Bernd Leno, injuring the goalkeeper's knee in the process.
Leno was incensed with Maupay as he was carried off on a stretcher and, after the striker scored a late winning goal, Arsenal's players confronted him at the final whistle.
Maupay later told the BBC: “Some of their [Arsenal] players need to learn what is humility - especially one of them."
Arteta, however, dismissed those accusations by the Frenchman, saying in his post-match press conference: “He can say whatever he wants.
“I know my players and one aspect that they do not miss for sure is humility."
