Arsenal boss Arteta pushed about Saliba return

Arsenal manager has spoken to the press ahead of the resumption of their Premier League season.

As the Gunners prepare to take on West Ham United on Boxing Day, Arteta was quizzed about the availability of various first-team players.

Particular attention went to French defender William Saliba, who did not play much at the World Cup, but was in the France squad that lost the final to Argentina.

Asked if Saliba would train on Monday, Arteta stated in his press conference: “Let's see depending on how he comes back as well.

“We have the data on what he's done in training in terms of minutes he didn't participate much but it was a huge experience for him.

“Let's see. When he gets back we'll see."
