Barcelona are eyeing Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.

Gundogan has a deal to 2023.

But it's emerged City are willing to grant the Germany international a free transfer this summer in recognition of his service to the club.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting Gundogan's agents have fielded interest from Barcelona and Arsenal.

Romano stated: "Talks ongoing between Gündoğan agents and Manchester City board. No discussion about new deal - just about his future with serious chances to leave the club.

"His trip to Madrid was not linked to his future. Barça, German clubs and Arsenal [depends on UCL] interested."
