Arsenal and Everton won't drop their interest in Lille defender Gabriel.

Le 10 Sport says Arsenal and Everton both made attempts for the Brazilian last month.

But Lille refused all offers for the 22 year-old and have since extended his contract to 2023.

However, despite the new deal for Gabriel, Everton and Arsenal remain keen and plan to move for the defender this summer.

Indeed, it's expected both Premier League clubs will return with superior offers to what was tabled in January.
