Argentina captain Lionel Messi blasted Wout Weghorst after their penalty shootout victory over Holland.

Following Argentina's win over the Netherlands on Friday, Messi shouted at a person offscreen during his postgame interview.

Messi, 35, stared coldly in the same direction for a few seconds before yelling out some offensive words to Weghorst, now with Besiktas.

"What are you looking at, dummy," Messi said. "Go on that way, dummy. Go away."

The interviewer was left with nothing to do, but tried to calm Messi down, who was still heated after the game's final whistle.

Messi had already had a tense moment with the Dutch bench after the penalty shootout, obviously bleeding over off the field.
