APOLOGISE! Villarreal, Sevilla and Valencia hit back at RFEF president Rubiales

Villarreal, Sevilla and Valencia have hit back at RFEF president Luis Rubiales after disparaging Whatsapp messages were published.

A joint statement was released as a response to the Whatsapp messages from Rubiales revealed by El Confidencial in which he confesses that the teams he dislikes the most are, "in this order, Villarreal, Seville and Valencia":

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION | VALENCIA CF, SEVILLA FC AND VILLARREAL CF JOINTLY CONDEMN THE SERIOUS CONTEMPT OF LUIS RUBIALES

Given the information published by "El Confidencial" this Tuesday, October 11, about alleged statements by Luis Rubiales, Valencia CF, Sevilla FC and Villarreal CF wish to jointly express their condemnation of the serious contempt of the president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation towards our clubs.

The conversations in which he speaks with such insult, animosity and arrogance towards the three institutions are unacceptable coming from a person who holds a position of such responsibility and who must look after the interests of all Spanish football clubs equally.

Valencia CF, Sevilla FC and Villarreal CF condemn Luis Rubiales' snub and lack of respect towards our entities and, most importantly, towards the feelings of his fans. Likewise, they show his utmost concern for the possible consequences that his attitude towards our clubs may entail, since his behavior does not contribute to the transparency of the competition.

Valencia CF, Sevilla FC and Villarreal CF urge Luis Rubiales to rectify and publicly apologise to the three institutions and their fans.
