Angers president Saïd Chabane admits they received a bumper offer for Nicolas Pepe.

The winger was a target for Hull City and Everton in the final days of the winter market.

Chabane said: "We received an offer of a little more than €10m - counting bonuses.

"At €15m, I think I would have sold because at some point, there is economic reality.

"But what is certain is that today, the squad can now work in serenity."
