Manchester City fullback Angelino is full of pride making a winning Premier League debut against Southampton.
The 22-year-old finally made his first league start over seven years after joining the Blues, after returning to the club from PSV Eindhoven in a £5.5million deal in the summer.
And that made it a special moment for a player who actually made his first-team debut nearly four years ago as a sub in an FA Cup tie at Aston Villa.
“I have been many years with the club so I loved making my first league start. It was a special day," he said.
“I got the chance to come back and it feels great, no regrets. I have to keep working hard to get chances, and stay positive.
“We have a strong team, and every position is tough. There is so much competition, two or three players for every place, but that's what makes us so good."
