Amokachi: West Brom just needed patience with Ideye

Former Everton striker Daniel Amokachi is convinced Brown Ideye is now proving his class with West Bromwich Albion.

Ideye has scored four goals in four games after netting just twice in 17 games after moving from Dynamo Kiev in June.

"I am not surprised that it took him this long (to stabilise), but I believe he will shine in the Premier League," said fellow Nigerian Amokachi to the Birmingham Mail.

"What people don't understand is that the Premiership is different from every other league in the world.

"You know he is coming from Ukraine and the league in the country is not as fast as the Premier League. But after about four months or thereabouts he has picked steam and I think he would continue this way."
