Amin Younes has declared his commitment to Napoli.

The midfielder has released a statement amid doubts over his future in Naples.

“Yes, there were negotiations with other clubs," wrote Younes on social media.

“There was interest both from within Italy and abroad, but I didn't want to change just so that I could be moved on. I didn't want to be forced to move at all costs.

“Clearly, the clubs have different expectations, which I cannot influence. This is why I am staying at Napoli, will continue to believe in myself and do everything in training to get back to being an alternative choice for my coach.

“Thank you to all the Napoli fans who every time showed how special this city and these people are!"
