Sydney FC striker John Aloisi is awaiting results of a scan to assess the extent of a knee injury. The 33-year old twisted his knee in the 2-0 win over Wellington Phoenix on Sunday and had to undergo scans yesterday after complaining of soreness.
Luckily it was Aloisi's 'good' knee which means odds of him getting up for this weekend's top of the table clash against Gold Coast United are in his favour.
However, if he does not come up, it will provide a problem for Sky Blues coach Vitezslav Lavicka who may also be without key midfielder Terry McFlynn with a thigh strain.
