Real Madrid legend Guti wants to drop his nickname as Almeria coach.

The Almeria coach has requested he now be known as Jose Maria Gutierrez, his full name.

The former Real Madrid player took charge of the Andalusian side back in November, having previously coached at Los Blancos' academy before taking an assistant coach role at Besiktas.

"My name is Jose Maria Gutierrez, not Guti," the Almeria boss made clear at the press conference prior to Los Rojiblancos' game against Mirandes on Saturday.

Following his arrival at the club, Gutierrez has led Almeria to two wins and a couple of draws in four LaLiga SmartBank games.
