Alessio Dionisi has agreed a contract with Sassuolo.

Dionisi leaves Empoli and his appointment was announced on Wednesday.

He was appointed in the afternoon and signed a two-season contract that runs to June 2023.

His presentation press conference will be held over the next few weeks, according to the club statement.

This will be Dionisi's debut Serie A campaign, as he spent most of his career with lower league sides like Olginatese, Borgosesia, Fiorenzuola, Imolese and Venezia.
