Alejo Veliz admits Tottenham teammate Bryan Gil had a big influence on his move to Sevilla.
The striker has joined Sevilla on-loan to the end of the season.
Veliz said: "Luckily I had a very quick adaptation with the boys, especially with the Argentinians. I am feeling very comfortable and very happy with this step. With Lamela we already established a very nice bond, he invited me to his house and we were talking. I'm very happy with everything.
"I came with him (Gil) a month and a half ago or so and we got to know Seville a little. Then we went to his town and Bryan always spoke very well to me about the club. Before coming I spoke with him and asked him about everything. He told me to move because everything was a 10.
"I arrived with a pretty good rhythm. I was coming back from the injury, but I had been training on the field for two weeks. I am getting in shape to be, this week, at the coach's disposal.
"I am a forward who leaves everything, who is going to go after all the balls and is not going to give up one for lost. I am going to give everything of myself, as the club wants, which trusts me for a reason.
"I am a nine in the area, who likes to go out to play, but like any forward, what I like most is to score goals. In Rosario I played with a double striker system and I also adapted to playing as the only forward. I think I'm going to adapt in the best way to the position I play."
