Alaves midfielder Enzo Zidane admits it will be "weird" facing former club Real Madrid this weekend.

Enzo, the son of Zinedine Zidane, left Real over the summer for Alaves.

"It is going to be weird, but also a very special match for me," he explained.

Being the son of a famous footballer is not always the most enviable position for an aspiring young player, yet he believes seeing his father work during his time with Los Blancos has been an incredible example.

"My father has always been an example to me, he was a great footballer and I always took notice of the things he was doing," he revealed.
