Al-Ahli are closing on an agreement for Manchester City attacker Riyad Mahrez.

Mahrez has a deal at City until 2025 and he has raised the prospect of closing out his career in Saudi Arabia.

Tribalfootball.com's transfer expert Rudy Galetti is reporting Al-Ahli - which is one of the clubs taken over by the Saudi Public Investment Fund - is advancing in the hunt for the Algerian winger.

Al-Ahli is now in advanced talks with Manchester City about a fee for the Algeria international.

Now 32, Mahrez is seeking one last career payday.
