Arsenal have reached a loan agreement with Brentford for goalkeeper David Raya.

The Spain international will join Arsenal for a season-long loan worth £3m with the option to buy for £27m.

The deal will be wrapped up on Thursday with Raya saying his farewells to Bees teammates on Wednesday afternoon.

The Athletic's David Ornstein reports: "EXCL: Arsenal taking David Raya on £3m loan + £27m buy option.

"Brentford contract extension (#BrentfordFC get fee if #AFC sign & retain value if not). Said goodbyes today, medical likely Thurs. Paperwork stage."
