The management team of Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie has rubbished claims of a row with club management.

It's been claimed Kessie has been urged to accept a pay-cut by Barca.

But a spokesman for the midfielder's management company said: “The subtitle and the text of the article both contain information without any foundation whatsoever.

“In particular, the idea that Mr. Kessie was summoned by the Blaugranas to discuss a reduction in the payment amounts outlined in his contract does not in any way correspond to the truth.

“And then, it is consequently not true that the response from the Ivorian midfielder would have been in any way negative."
