Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is yet to hear from Barcelona, it has been revealed.

Giroud was linked with Barca in the Catalan press this week.

However, a representative of the Frenchman told Foot Mercato he's yet to be contacted by Barca.

Barca coach Ernesto Valverde has confirmed he'd like to sign a new striker this month.

And Giroud fits the bill given his experience and affordability.
