The agent of Joel Veltman says he's staying calm at new club Brighton.

The former Ajax fullback joined the Seagulls this summer and made his full debut on Monday for the draw with West Brom.

"He is not in the starting team every game now," agent Michael Jansen told VICE Sports.

"Of course you talk about that. Now I don't have to solve that yet, but that might come later. That is very difficult to determine.

"He's not the type of player to start crying right away, so to speak.

"You are in the Premier League, there is something different than the Netherlands, even if you come from a big club like Ajax. Then you sometimes have to be patient."
