Sporting CP star Manuel Ugarte's agent has revealed that he could move to Liverpool in the summer.
The 22-year-old has been outstanding for the Portuguese outfit, earning praise and links with a move to a top club.
The Uruguayan midfielder has a release clause worth £53 million, which would be within Liverpool's budget.
Ugarte's agent Jorge Chijane spoke to Portuguese outlet O Jogo, stating: “It is almost certain that he will not stay, it is certain that he will leave.
“I'll be in Lisbon soon. I trust Jorge Mendes, who is the best businessman in the world. In fact, when I first spoke to him at Ugarte, he said to me: 'Your eyes are my eyes.'
“Liverpool? There's a lot of talk, but it's not the only club [interested], there are others. There's a lot of talk, but I'm still not sure about the club. There are many hypotheses on the table. I believe that in 15 days the situation will be resolved."
