The agent of Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia says he's happy in Naples.

The Georgia international is said to have rejected a new contract offer - claims which were rubbished by Napoli this week.

Agent Mamuka Jugeli told Calcionapoli24: “I want the tifosi to know that Khvicha does not want to change clubs and will give everything for Napoli. We are very grateful: here in Georgia many cheer for Madrid, but I am sure that, in the Champions League matches, everyone will be with Napoli.

"We have a fantastic relationship with the entire Napoli board, we can only say good things about they. We are at home and we never thought about changing teams, at no time did we have problems. You have to give thanks.

“There are no discussions for the renewal, we are happy with the contract we have: the objective is to defend the Scudetto and go far in the Champions League. Kvara is delighted with the city and his colleagues, I don't know what the media writes and I'm not interested.

“He (Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis) did a lot for us, if he wants to renew the contract we are ready to negotiate, but both parties are happy. There is trust and all the promises were always kept, we are fond of the club and we don't want that to change."

He added, "When one day Kvara is ready to play in Madrid or Barça, we will analyse it, but now he is in a very good team with players like Osimhen, Di Lorenzo, Zielinski... A great group."
