The agent of Ryan Babel says the winger isn't ready to leave Liverpool.

Reacting to reports that Babel has been told he can go by manager Rafa Benitez, Winnie Haatrecht declared: "He is not ready.

"I'll soon sit down with Mr Benitez to assess everything. We haven't yet spoken because there hasn't been time.

"Ryan left Ajax for Liverpool in order to win trophies. He hasn't done that yet.

"Ryan only wants to leave Liverpool after he is a senior player and with a trophy in his pocket."
