Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been offered a massive contract to takeover the China national team.
However, he has snubbed the chance to go to China, but has not ruled out a switch to the Far East in the future.
Football agent and close friend of Mourinho, Ioan Becali, said: "We met up to have breakfast in a hotel next to his house and he told me told that he had received an offer from China to take charge of the national team and they put a blank cheque in front of him.
“He told me: 'I am 54 years old, I want to work five more years in Europe and after I turn 60 I'll go to China."
Mourinho was sacked as Manchester United manager in December after overseeing the Red Devils' worst-ever start to a Premier League season.
