The agent of Michael Ball has confirmed he is leaving Manchester City.
"Michael's contract is not being renewed at Manchester City and runs out on 30th June. But they have a responsibility to assist the player in his bid to regain full fitness," Trevor Steven told skysports.com.
"It's difficult to gauge the interest in Michael as there are plenty of fit players out there to be interested in and most clubs want players who are fit to start the season, so we will just wait and get him fit now and go from there.
"I would think that the way forward would be for Michael to go on trial at a club and that would be the route we are looking most likely to take when he recovers from his injury."
