Arsenal have been told to forget about Dalian Yifang winger Yannick Carrasco.

Carrasco wants to return to European football after 18 months with Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Yifang.

He was suspended by the club recently after returning late from international duty, although he insisted it was down to his flight being delayed.

Carrasco broke his silence on social media - branding the attitude of some of his teammates and club officials as 'incomprehensible'.

Christophe Henrotay told Het Laatste Nieuws: "Carrasco has been saying for a long time that he wants to return to Europe.

“There are clubs that would like to sign him. One club submitted a formal offer.

“Other clubs, such as Arsenal , also wanted to do that, but Dalian said he was not for sale."
