Achraf Hakimi says it's an honour to play for Inter Milan.
The wing-back arrived in the summer from Real Madrid in a €40m deal.
“It is an honour to be part of a legendary club like Inter," Hakimi told beIN Sports.
“So many greats have played here at San Siro and it's a real privilege to wear the jersey. I want to prove that the club was right to trust me.
“I'm very happy to discover this new league and I'm sure that I will learn and improve so much here."
The 21-year-old Morocco international sought advice from Inter legend Zanetti after arriving in Milan.
“I spoke to Zanetti when I signed the contract and he's a real icon of Inter. I so hope that I can follow in his footsteps.
“I also talked to the coach before signing and we immediately got along well. Conte said he really likes the way I play and that was an important part of my decision to come here. It's crucial to know the coach really wants you."
