AC Milan coach Pippo Inzaghi is expected to keep hold of his job this week.
Defeat to Fiorentina last night was expected to see the axe fall, but the manner of Milan's loss has forced a rethink from the club's hierarchy.
Milan chiefs Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani were impressed by the spirited performance, with Inzaghi's team losing to two late goals.
Cristian Brocchi, the club's primavera coach, remains in the wings ready to step up should Inzaghi be shown the door.
However, for now, Inzaghi's job appears safe.
