AC Milan hero Billy Costacurta feels Ruben Loftus-Cheek will have it all to prove in Italy.

The Chelsea midfielder is set to sign permanently for Milan today for a fee of €20m.

Costacurta reflected: “I think Loftus-Cheek is a very interesting player.

“He can give a great deal to the team in attack with his physicality and pace, even if I think he needs to improve in the timing of his defensive interceptions and above all his positioning too. He has done well in fits and starts, but was injured a great deal too."
