AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli is delighted with their summer market work.

Midfield pair Tijjani Reijnders and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are already impressing.

Pioli said: "We've been together since July. I insisted on a game idea, on giving continuity to certain choices. From what I saw in the pre-season, beyond the results, I liked them; they already have important experience, not players who you throw in there and they don't know what to do."

Asked about facing Romelu Lukaku with Roma tomorrow night, Pioli also said: "Does Lukaku complicate tomorrow's away match? Not much in terms of environment, because they've been sold-out in Rome for two years. But it's nice to play in full stadiums with this atmosphere, we work for these matches: it doesn't scare us, but it stimulates us."
