AC Milan are believed to be on the verge of signing Chelsea striker Fernando Torres.
Sky Sports suggests that the Italian club have held talks with the Blues regarding the Spanish striker and that a deal could be completed soon.
Furthermore, Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani has admitted that the San Siro outfit are awaiting a response from Chelsea regarding the transfer.
"We are confident. We have made our proposal to Chelsea and are now waiting on an answer. We hope we can get him," he said.
Torres has been at Stamford Bridge since joining from Liverpool for £50million in January 2011 and has scored 45 goals in 172 appearances in all competitions during his much-maligned spell in west London.
