AC Milan chief exec Ivan Gazidis insists there's great potential in the current team.

Gazidis also heaped praise on Zlatan Ibrahimovic's impact.

He said, “There must be a good mix of talented young people and experienced players who are still hungry for success, a winning mentality and know how to lead the group.

“Zlatan Ibrahimovic has had a huge impact, from a technical, personality and leadership point of view.

“We have never rejected the idea of experienced and ready-made high level players. But we also focus on who can become one in a Milan shirt.

“Isn't Theo Hernandez a top player today? Isn't Ismael Bennacer developing into one? There is a team of people trying to find the right balance."
