AC Milan co-GM Barbara Berlusconi says coach Clarence Seedorf's appointment was a personal choice made by her father.

Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is battling to take control of the club's fading fortunes.

"The decision to hire Seedorf was made by my father," Barbara told Four Four Two.

"Our target is to bring in young talent before they become top players and before the cost of them becomes difficult for us to manage."
